Educational Qualification : For direct recruitment as a Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA), candidates must complete a one-year Elementary Veterinary Science course from the Govt.-recognized School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Ghungoor, Silchar, and candidate must have passed HSSLC (Science) with Biology.
Salary : Pay Band-2 of Rupees 14,000/- to Rupees 70,000/- + Grade Pay of Rupees 6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Veterinary Recruitment 2025
Nationality : Candidate must be an m Indian Citizens as defined under Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit : The age limit for the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not be more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2025.
Age Relaxation : The upper age limit relaxation for all candidates are mention in the below
- For SC/ST candidates 05 Years.
- For OBC/MOBC candidates 03 Years.
Physical Standard : A Candidate for Direct recruitment to the cadre of Veterinary Field Assistant under Rule 3 (d) shall be of sound health both mentally and physically and free from any organic defects of body infirmly likely to interfere with efficient performance of his duties and require to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.
